02Information on the website
We take care that the information on this website (descriptions, photos, amenities, distances) is accurate and up to date. Photos are indicative; furnishings and views may differ slightly between suites of the same type. Distances are approximate.
03Bookings and payment
Bookings are made through our secure online booking system (johnmarysuites.hotelyzer.gr). Before you confirm, the system shows the total price, what is included, the payment terms and the cancellation policy of the rate you choose. These conditions apply to your booking and may differ from rate to rate.
A booking is confirmed once you receive the confirmation by email.
The Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is set by Greek law for every night of stay. Where it is not included in the total price shown when you book, it is paid at the property during your stay.
Extra services (airport transfer, car or bike rental, breakfast, excursions) are offered on request and at an extra charge.
04Cancellations and changes
Cancellations and changes follow the cancellation policy of the rate you booked, as shown before payment and in your confirmation email. For any change, contact us at info@johnmarysuites.gr or +30 210 300 2211.
05Arrival and departure
- Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is until 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out are possible when availability allows.
- At check-in, every adult guest shows an identity card or passport, as Greek law requires.
- The suites are on the first floor and are reached by stairs; there is no lift.
- We can keep your luggage free of charge before check-in or after check-out.
06House rules
To keep the house calm and pleasant for everyone, please note:
- The main guest must be at least 18 years old.
- Only the guests registered in the booking may stay in the suite.
- Parties and events are not allowed.
- Quiet hours are from 23:00 to 08:00.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the suites or the building.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Children of all ages are welcome. A baby cot is available free of charge on request; the suites have no extra beds.
Please respect the house, the neighbours and the quiet of the old town. We do not hold a damage deposit, but the guest is responsible for any damage they cause to the suite or the building during the stay and will be charged the cost of repair or replacement.
07Valuables
Every suite has an in-room safe. Please keep valuables, documents and money in it. We are not responsible for the loss of valuables that were not kept in the safe, except where the law provides otherwise.
08Force majeure
We are not responsible for failing to provide our services because of events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, power or water cuts, or decisions of public authorities. In that case we will inform you as soon as possible and look for a solution together.
09Complaints
If something is not right during your stay, please tell us straight away so that we can fix it. You can also send us a complaint at info@johnmarysuites.gr, and we will reply as soon as possible.
If we cannot resolve it together, as a consumer you can contact the Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr), an independent authority for the out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes.
10Intellectual property
All content of this website (texts, photos, logo, design) belongs to John & Mary Suites or is used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written consent.
11Liability for the website
We make every effort to keep the website available and free of errors, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from this site.
12Applicable law
These terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of Rethymno, without prejudice to the mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
